Full Feature List

Editing Entries

Journler uses the same text technology as TextEdit and as such is a full featured text editor.

To format an entry, Journler provides immediate access to the standard colors and fonts panels as well as the ruler view. Journler also includes a standard format menu which allows you to modify your text in just about any way.

The fonts and colors panels float above the journal window, allowing you to modify your text as needed. Journler displays the ruler at the top of the entry’s text just below the header. From here you can modify the text’s style, aligment, and tab as well as paragraph spacing. Feel free to add a list while you’re at it.

Lists, Tables and Spacing

With Journler you can also easily add more specific formatting to your text. Journler provides support for lists, tables and detailed spacing. Journler doesn’t just help you organize your thoughts in relationship to one another. It also helps keeps a thought clear in itself.

The Spelling and Find Panels

Standard stuff that every word processing program should provide. Both spelling and text searching are built into Journler. All you have to do is turn them on. From the spelling side, incorrect words are underlined in red and support for international languages is built-in, not to mention a direct connection to Tiger’s Oxford dictionaries. For searching within an entry’s, find performs quickly, as it does everywhere else on your computer.
